2 year old twisted her knee...

last night playing around, my two year old twisted her knee, she was not in pain at all till this morning she woke up and is complaining about the pain. laying down she is fine, but she refuses to walk on it and cries when she applies pressure to it standing up. she will not allow me to put ice on it, so far i am jst able to rub some muscle cream on it....any other suggestions to help it feel better? i feel like if i took her to the dr, what would they even be able to do???

  • Take her to the doctor and make sure the bones are in proper position. Kids ligaments are really flexible and bones can pop out of place easily. A simple adjustment may be all she needs to walk on it again.Seriously if she can't/refuses to walk that is an emergency. She may need a cast.

  • Childrens ligaments are EXTREMELY flexible, and needs to be checked to make sure nothing came out of place. If she isn't walking on it at all, she needs to go to the E.R. immidetely!
