dessert ideas

I make desserts for my husband to take to work on Fridays (his company has a Fun Committee and I like to make them a dessert, but he shares with the rest of the workers too usually.) Last week I made BC Brownie Goody Bar and everyone loved them (

Any ideas? It needs to be able to survive a 35-40 minute commute to work. I'm running out of new things to try :)

Thank you in advance for the suggestions :)

  • How about a dump cake. I make 2. One with cherry pie filling and pineapples. Topped with dry cake mix and melted butter. Bake at 350 until golden brown on top. The other one I make is an apple one and I will have to go look up the recipe. PM if you want it.

  • Preheat over to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9 inch backing pan. Line the bottom of the pan with a single layer of graham crackers. In a large bowl, prepare the browner mix according to directions on the box. Carefully spread brownie batter evenly over graham crackers. Bake for about 25 minutes. Do Not Over Bake. Remove brownies from oven and immediately sprinkle with marshmallows. Gently press the marshmallows into hot brownies. Return to over and bake another 2 minutes or unitl marchmallows are puffed. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine chocolate chips and oil. Stir over low heat until melted and smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the marshmallow. Cool completely. Use a knife dipped in hot water to cut the bars.

    Happy eating!
