If you won the lottery...

would you quit your job or continue working (sorry SAHMs, I have to exclude you this time, even though what you do can be called work too)?

I would quit my job in a heartbeat. But I would probably start doing some volunteer work or something to occupy my time. Or I would at least find a job that I enjoyed doing more.

  • I would quit my job, start a charity for helping single moms or dads.

I would help my family, friends and my boss. I love my job but who needs it, getting up early in the morning Monday -Friday.

  • i would not work a regular 9-5 job or whatever, but i would invest in something that will keep making me money and occupy my time like opening a resturant / club / bar or something like that.

  • I wouldn't quit my job but I'd cut down on the hours for sure. Maybe like 4 hours a day 2 days a week LOL. I love my job (most days) and even if I didn't need to work I would still want something to get me out of the house and feeling productive.

  • i've only been a sahm for a month and a half..if i'd won a lottery whilst working, i wouldn't have quit. most likely, about half would've been paid out in taxes, and another large portion would've been invested, another portion put away for college, while only a small amount would've been 'wasted'. it wouldn't have changed my lifestyle by much..i enjoyed working! it would've made things easier, financially, of course. and i probably would've been more likely to 'fire' clients whom i'd grown tired of. :))
