Oil Spill reaches 100 day mark! Do you think we've done enough?

Do you think that our federal government has done enough since April 20th? 100 days and the "static kill" is just expected to start?

In the article above, it states that "a team has been established to examine whether the notoriously close ties between BP and federal regulators contributed to the April 20 disaster".
Do you think it has taken so long to stop/ clean because of this?

  • I don't think they have used the human resources to the most. There are people out there who are experts at certain areas, and these people seem to have been underused.

  • no they have not done enough. In this bad economy, this spill has put MORE people out of work.

To top it off, there was ANOTHER Oil Spill yesterday (or the day before)!

    Louisiana cannot catch a break!

  • No way there has not been enough done. It is sad if you think of it. Why are they forming committees to study this? They should be cleaning up the mess. The damage is done and will be felt for years to come.

  • There hasn't been enough done to clean it up or prevent it from keep happening. My boyfriend builds heavy machinery like paving equipment and they were hired to build a large machine for the beaches to seperate the good sand from the sand with oil clots and it was down a foot into the sand!

  • Maybe not why it's taken so long to stop, but why it happened in the first place.
