can I use an induction cooktop while pregnant?

I am 5 weeks pregnant. And I have induction cooktop at home. I heard it has high EMF radiation and it might affect a fetus. Anyone know whether it is safe to use induction cooker during pregnancy?

  • You should be more concerned for using a microwave during pregnancy.

  • I have no idea but this link is to a site that people ask questions to be answered by an OB/Gyn. It sounds like it is fine.

  • OMG, I didn't even know about that. I have one and my DS is fine. Thank goodness! Yes, stay far away from the microwave when it is on though. They can leak if they are old or improperly installed as a range hood.
