Does cancer or any other disease run in your family?

If so, what?

Fortunately, my family doesn't have much of a history of anything, but my husband's has a large family on both sides, and both are rampant with cancer of all types. :(

  • My mom passed away from Breast Cancer. She was adopted so that's all we know about her family history. But that's enough and I have to go at 30 for my first mammogram.

  • My mother died of colon cancer when she was 37. I'm hoping that was not hereditary. I get checked but still..any pain in the abdomen has me thinking it's cancer. My father has a history of menigniomas, thyroid disease, and diabetes. I had thyroid problems after the birth of my daughter but seem to be better.

    I have great genes!!
