how long did it take you to get pregnant again after you gave birth?

did anyone try right away?? how long did it take? i know everyone is different, just curious. :)

  • Not long...I mistakenly thought that if I were breast feeding that I couldn't get pregnant...lol

  • It is highly recommended that you wait at least 3-4 months if not longer to let your body fully recover from the first pregnancy and delivery. MOST women cannot get pregnant for about 6 months if nursing, but not everyone. Personally I was nursing and got pregnant about 15 months after having the first (still nursing too).

  • The soonest I got pregnant again was around 5 months. Oldest 2 are 16 months apart.
