  • I se them for scrapbooking items. My husband screws the lids to the bottom of shelving and then I can just remove and reattach the jar with the things in them.

  • i agree with the pp. or does your husband have a garage he uses? he can use them the same way, only put nuts/bolts/nails in them.
as for a craft, you can make a snowglobe, hotglue a small figure to the inside of the lid, put water and glitter inside the jar, hotglue the lid to the jar...if you have more than you need, you can always see if there are any daycares in your area that are willing to take them, i used to work at one, and we used them alot, to do crafts and store things in them. GL on ideas!

  • Why don't you decorate them for the holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. decorate the outside of the jar and put short, but not too short candles in them to light up.

  • to make the candles, do what amessageofhope said, only melt the bottom of the candle and put it in the jar while the wax is wet, hold it there until it's should stay standing like that. or you can just hotglue it to the inside...
