  • I think your overspending, Take it down a notch and get more kids if you want to do the same amount of money... I only say this because they probably spread out the gifts anyways. That way every kid gets a great Christmas.

  • Well, I have mixed feeling about how much to spend because I could spend less and adopt more, but if it is the child's only christmas presents, then I want it to be a WOW christmas....... I adopted 10 last year, but no one will tell me what is an appropriate amount to spend. Or even what the average amount is. Basically, l almost always adopt 5 and last year I took 5 more after turning in the first 5 because there were so many left on the tree and it was only a few days before christmas. Anyway... you guys really have no idea?

  • I closed the original question so there wouldn't be two open, but basically I didn't know if I should spend less per child and adopt more or keep it the same. I've always spent about $250 per child (books, toys, clothes, shoes and one big gift...usually a bike).
