Coming tax hikes.............

So, PBO insists that there will be no tax hikes on anyone making less than $250,000. Well, a break down of the tax cuts that will be allowed to expire shows that the people who pay 10% in taxes get a hike. And then, there is that pesky tax on families with children with special needs. Thoughts........

  • This should be of particular interest to many Cafemoms--since so many of pursuing their education, are saving for their kids educations, or have jobs in the education system!!

    From the article:

"Tax Benefits for Education and Teaching Reduced. The deduction for tuition and fees will not be available. Tax credits for education will be limited. Teachers will no longer be able to deduct classroom expenses. Coverdell Education Savings Accounts will be cut. Employer-provided educational assistance is curtailed. The student loan interest deduction will be disallowed for hundreds of thousands of families."

  • Jesse, they don't WANT to be informed...they trust that the government actually cares about them, and will somehow come through for them, and this is just conservative fear mongering!! LOL

They won't believe us until it's a reality, then they'll all be on here saying "What happened?" "Who let this happen?" "Why didn't anyone do something about this?!" (Notice, they'll never blame themselves!)

  • What bias? They are for a flat tax. So this group wants NO taxes. They have just broken down what is coming. You aren't going to get any of this from a democratic site or a liberal site. They don't want us to know this stuff. They want the taxes. How are we to be informed if we don't look at those doing the watching?
