  • I had my first "real" job (other than babysitting) the summer I was turning 15. It was at Dunkin' Donuts, and it kicked off my eternal love for coffee!

  • I was 17 and I worked at Publix for 5-6 months. I hated it. I don't think I worked again until my sophomore year in college at Quizno's. I had a work study job my freshman year at an elementary school.

  • I was 16 when I started working as a bus monitor on the school bus on the way home. I just sat with the preschool and headstart kids and passed them off to their parents.
I was 17, almost 18 when I got a "real job" at a fast food place right after high school. I just didn't need the money in school, I never went out, didn't hang out with anyone. I was perfectly content to hang out in my room with my calculus book. :-)
