How soon after a miscarriage do you think it's safe to start trying again?

I miscarried with a blighted ovum at the beginning of last month... how soon do you think it would be safe to start ttc again?

  • I was advised by my doctor to wait 6 months. It worked out well for us.

  • Wow, really? I haven't given it much thought to talk to my doctor but I would love to start right away... My son is almost 2 and we're sort of running out of time to have them close in age. But again, I also don't want to do anything to jeopordize the health of me or future baby bean{s} - thank you for your reply. I appreciate it.

  • As soon as you are ready. I was told to wait one regular cycle. One of my friends was pregnant again before she even had one cycle.
