  • I am sorry about your divorce

Electric, phones, Internet service, credit cards, gym membership, satellite for TV, car loans...these are all I can think of for monthly bills. There are yearly bills, too- car and life insurance, health insurance, real estate taxes, then income taxes.

  • bills are going to vary from area to area and state to state. our total of utilities and rent is about 905. we spend about $120 a month on fresh meats and veggies for 3 adults and 1 child.

  • You can call your utility companies and get an average of what your bills have been over the past year. That will help you project what they will be. You can ask the court to have him pay things like car payments, insurance, all credit cards. That would leave you with just personal utilities. He could ask the court to sell the family home or you could ask for the home if you have children. Ask for whatever you want. If he wants out bad enough he'll give it to you.

  • OK wait a minute here, you have been married for 23 years and you have no idea how much the bill are??? Then honestly you are not ready to be out on your own.
With that said, we are a family of four and our basic needs are met at about $2,800 a month our mortgage is $1,400 utilities and expenses $600, misc bills $300, food $300 and gas $200.

  • we live very cheaply. i won't get into amounts because cost of living varies so much place to place and lifestyle. rent, electric, water/garbage, cell phone, one small credit card bill, student loan, car insurance, groceries, gas, i think that's it...
