  • If a friend says "Lets hook up" I'm thinking they mean lets get together.
    If some guy is a bar says "Let's hook up" I am assuming they want to go screw.

    It all depends on who is saying it.

  • ditto PP, also i was thinking that as a teenager "hook up" meant to just be boyfriend/girlfriend or to hangout, kiss/makeout etc :P But as an adult "hook up" means something totally different!
