Build a new country

This is a game of trying to build an imaginary ideal country. Where would you take from the following items?
People, Health, Economy, Climate, Education, Transportation, Cost of Living, Religion, Scenery.

Here are my answers:
People - Jamaica - funniest people ever
Health - Greece - healthy people (the ones that I know)
Economy - Japan (as of today)
Climate - Italy (not too hot, not too cold)
Education - France
Transportation - US (good roads compared to rest of the world)
Cost of Living - any country from Eastern Europe, food is dirt cheap over there
Religion - wherever majority are Buddhists. I am not a Buddhist but would be cool living among tempered, peaceful people.
Scenery - Switzerland

  • People - Germany - cold but smart
Health - Hunza people--supposedly these people are the healthiest people in the world, with almost miraculous absence of any disease throughout their lives. Further, the average life span of these people is said to be higher than anywhere else in the world.
The Hunza valley is located in Pakistan, bordering China.
Economy - Singapore - it's rated number one right now
    Climate - Malta
    Education - Great Britain
    Transportation - US
Cost of Living - Of the larger countries in the world, Australia has one of the lowest national costs of living in the world
Religion - any country from Scandinavia
    Scenery - Austria

P.S. Good question, wrong forum. Most Americans have no clue about the rest of the world.
