What items are on your "musts" list for groceries?

Ok, if you had to make a list of the basic things that you just had to have from the grocery store, what would they be? Not the things that are "extras" or something, but things that you have to have on a weekly basis to make a meal everyday. This is sort of a budgeting question btw!

  • Because I stockpile, there is nothing I have to buy every week except eggs, but in terms of what I keep on hand at all times and buy when it's on sale to last until it's on sale again:
rice, beans, milk, proteins (whatever meat is marked down, vacuum sealed and frozen until used), produce (whatever is cheapest and local, or supplement with frozen), kosher salt, black peppercorn, flour, baking powder, baking soda, yeast
