  • Yeah; I started reading to her at a day old in the hospital. I just read my book out loud and kept reading to her. I still read to her throughout the day and she's 5 1/2 now. :-)

  • I read to my baby from the day that I brought her home while she is now 8yrs old and call read very well I still read to her at night and sometimes she reads to me at night

  • ya i read to her.. she runs off lol shes 20 months never would sit still for me to read to her and she just wants to turn the pages and say MINE so i don't do it often!

  • Yes!! I do every chance i get. I also ask them to read to youngest is 3, that way i can see what she retained...aka comprehension...

  • I don't read to my 12 year old anymore, but I still read to my 8 and 10 year olds, my 20 month old and my 3 week old. I have read to them since the day they came home from the hospital.

  • Yes, from about 6 months or so. It is the best thing you can do for your child to prepare them to read.
