Favorite Children's author?

I like Steven Kellogg and Jan Brett for their picture books. I also like Louisa May Alcott and Laura Ingalls Wilder for her Little House Books. My older boys liked G.A . Henty's historical fiction. But there are so many great choices...who is your favorite or the favorite of your child?

  • I LOVED Louisa May Alcott when I was a little girl, as well as Lucy Maude Montgomery (Anne of Green Gables), Judy Bloome, and Ramona Quimby Age Eight was the book that really turned me into an avid reader--so definitely Beverly Cleary!

  • There are many good children''s book authors. However, the three that come to me at the moment are Judy Blume, Roald Dahl, and JK Rowlings.
