2D vs 3D

Would you rather see a movie in 2D or 3D?

2D for me. To me it's not worth the extra price to pay to see 3D, especially since I could never get 3D glasses to work really well with my regular glasses and since my 3 year old would probably spend more time chewing on them than he would wearing them.

  • 2D. I've seen my first two 3D movies in the past year, and I don't see the point really. Plus, I wear glasses, so that sucks getting the 3D effects and not really being able to see what it is clearly lol.

  • 2-d, 3-d honestly never looks any different to me except for maybe one or two items in the whole movie

  • I love the "new" 3D movie experience, like Avatar -- It does not look like the screen is popping out at you, it looks like you are in the movie (hard to explain).
I dont like going to the Cinema really all that much at all. 2D & 3D are both overpriced IMO... and my family could do alot more than 2hrs worth of sitting for the same amount of $$ elsewhere..
So since we rarely ever go, 3D is worth it.. I think the next time we go see a movie will be a 3D movie with DD. We will be seeing "Polar Express" For SURE this winter in 3D.
