  • I used Dreft, but later switched to just allergen free detergents. I still use them because scented detergents bother me (the smell).

  • Unless the baby has severe allergies,you can use regular detergent. The baby soap is something left over from when ladies had those old washers that didn't rinse the detergent out well and it irritated the skin. Detergent we have now,and the washers,are much more efficient at rinsability. Unless you are hand washing the clothes,any old detergent works fine.

  • I use arm and hammer free and clear. Its my normal laundry detergent and its gentle enough for baby clothes so there is no need to buy different detergents

  • i used whatever was on sale and my daughter is just fine! now i make my own laundry soap i can make enough to last a month for $2! its great!
