for the military wife's here with me today

so i was told the gyms on base where free to me and my family (my and my son). does any one know if that is true or not. my post is Ft Hood if it makes any diff?

  • Yep! I'm at Fort Hood.. You can access the gyms on post for free. Just have your I.D. with you. And the best time to go is during the day.

  • Gyms are free to dependents, there are a couple things that you might have to pay a small fee for like personal trainers but all the classes and equipment are free. Pools are not free, though. Usually the pool is $1 per dependent.

  • wow thanks i was wanting to get me and my baby in to the pool to get my self back in shape and him sleepy for naps and bed times lol.

  • The pools are free at Ft Sam - lol, yeah it's not Ft Hood.
    That's strange that it would cost a dollar. You could probably get on the website and get the phone number and call and ask.
