who out there has had a hot flash? how old were you? adult content

I had one when I was about to turn 36. Right after that I started acupuncture, went on herbs and it hasn't happened again.
Don't bother telling me it wasn't a hot flash, it HAD to be.
I had been having a lot of menopause symptoms, but I figured it was all the pre-menopause stuff.
when that hot flash hit, I got nervous. For many reasons I want to put off menopause as long as possible!

Hormonal stuff is getting worse again. Not as bad as before, but I'll be 40 my next birthday.
with so many doctors doing hysterectomies as if they were taking tonsils out, it's hard to find women around my age in my situation.
anyone?

  • i just turned 27 a few days ago and i've had hot flashes ever since i came off depo about 18 months ago..some months are worse than others. Its been especially bad the past few months though because my doc gave me provera to induce my period and it seems like i've had some big hormonal changes due to that. idk

  • blood pressure is fine as far as I know. usually runs low.
symptoms are pretty good, but I've noticed some coming back. Which is why I'm boiling the herbs to make the tea to drink as we speak. Felt much better when on that stuff.

  • I'll turn 50 this year & both myself & twin sister started going thru the change about 40 or 41.We both were early bloomers, getting our periods about 11 years old.Anyway,it's a part of life that us females unfortunately, go thru. The best part now is no periods anymore.NEVER!!! • I'd rather menstruate! :( but anyhow, I was a early bloomer too. I was 10 years old. plus I had a elastic tubal ligation. really regret that one!

  • I've had them in my 20's when I was on the pill.  I've had them in my 30's when I was breast feeding.   I'm having them all the time in my 40's now that I'm going through menopause.
