Do you consider pornography a form of legal prostitution? adult content

My husband and I were debating it, and though I am not against porn it rose some questions. They are getting paid to have sex, and having sex for money is their profession, what do you think?

  • No; prostitution consists of one person paying the other person money in exchange for sex acts on them.  Someone paying 2 consenting adults a lot of money to have sex with each other is not prostitution; just people with no morals.

  • Yes. Whenever you have sex for money, it is prostitution. Porn stars have sex for money. It is all the same. Disgusting stuff.

  • No, because prostitution is selling yourself for sex to random people. Porn, people are getting paid to make a movie, which just happens to be of them having sex. I'm can't think of exactly how they differ right now, but I see them as 2 different entities.

  • Not really. Either way-Prostitution or porn..nothing wrong with either. It is their body and I think they should be able to do what they want with it.

  • 100%. I think prostitution should be 100% legal anyway! Why not?
