  • Time....and..... Perspective.... and..... acceptance.....

    Time to heal.

    Gaining perspective in regards to the realities of the situation. Gaining perspective in regards to the good & bad, the positive & negatives of the situation.

    Accepting that what is done is done. What will be will be. And accepting what control we do have, and what control we don't have in such situations. Accepting our lives for what they are, our relatioships for what they are. And accepting that we can always pick up and start over and move on in life.

  • Best therapy I know is to do things for other people. Throw yourself whole-heartedly into making someone else's life better just because you are alive. It could be a child or it could be an older person who is lonely, just somebody who needs a friend. I promise you it is very, very healing. It really is true that it's more blessed to give than to receive.
