  • The musical potties! The potty thrones! What is so wrong with a potty that looks like the real thing. We are teaching our children how to use a toilet right?

  • OMG to the cheer for me potty... I thought it was a good idea, but DS2 is scared to death of it. Then DH was like "Wouldn't you be afraid if you went and tinkled and the toilet cheered for you?" Wow, never thought of it like that before!!!

  • OP you put the potty in his room for naps and overnight? Was he having accidents and doing that reduced them? I found putting the potty in the living room has reduced accidents. I was thinking about doing the bedroom thing, but I wouldnt want my son to dump it out into the hamper or or play in it lol

  • I agree Desi, we started right on the normal toilet. Just got a seat to sit on it so he didn't fall in while pooping. And our son learned to pee standing because that's how his daddy and papa do it. We have one of those little ones in his room for during nap and bed if he has to go, which he does use in there.
