Do you really care if your child wears "organic cotton"?

I am seeing more companies sell organic cotton, which can be expensive. I dont like cheap clothes but I don't think there is a real difference. Plus, what person you know that will say, "WOW!!!! Your kids are wearing organic cotton!!!???? But for me ,as long as the clothes are colorful and built to last for a hand me down, I really dont care.

  • No not for the price I have to pay. I would rather but something will work over organic, however if it is given as a gift SURE!

  • It's not about the quality of the cotton, it's about what producing it does to the environment.

  • I care to know about what's new with the environment, and it is nice that the kids will see and experience"if there is a difference" of clothing material , but I would not like it too much, if He gets too comfy with organic clothing or food, just because its expensive. Besides, Kids need to be able to adjust to the economy, and their body to wear anything....

  • Just out of curiousity (may sound dumb to people who are all about going green), but what exactly makes it organic cotton?
