Child with a fever?

My daughter has a fever (102.2). I give her Tylenol. But there seem to be nothing still wrong. I ask if anything hurts and stuff like that she says no. Not sure whats going on. Any more advice would be great. Thank you. btw she is 3.5 year old

  • just let it go, keep an eye on her to make sure her behavior doesn't change and that it doesn't get too high

a fever is the body's natural way of fighting something off! It's not a bad thing!

  • skip the tylenol unless she is miserable. The fever is doing its job to fight the infection.

  • I agree with skip the Tylenol. Fever fights infection. Tylenol is bad for the liver. Fever isn't dangerous in children until it's 108.

  • If it's okay with your child's doctor, you can switch between tylenol and motrin.
