  • Oh hell no, whats good about it? Unions are a big reason states and companies are going broke. Unions used to be for the little people but now we really have few unscrupulous companies out there just to screw their employers. Unions just are not needed for a legitimate reason. This bill would cost your money. Do you really want your tax dollars paying for someones enormous pension?

  • Just look what the union has done for Michigan. My husband makes more being retired from UAW 30 and out job than most people are making working. How can that be sustained?

  • The unions will get what they want from the democrats, it's called payback. Look at Obama and Andy Stern of SCIU.

  • There are bad Unions, yes, but there are also good ones that protect the workers. In many companies, if it were not for Unions, the employees would be making minimum wages or less, and if you think the CEO's & Execs would be making less, think again and prices wouldn't go down either. And then there's the employee safety issue. Safety measures in any company can be expensive and it's an expense most companies don't really want and wouldn't invest in if the Unions weren't there to make sure they did. So while you blame the Union for companies going broke and hope for their demise, keep in mind that your chances of being critically injured or killed on the job are far less than they used to be because of the Unions.

  • We bailed out GM who was bankrupt at least in part due to the unions, now we're paying for the unions. Where's the mommy's union? I demand no less than one hour between diaper changes. 8 consecutive hours sleep, no spit up on clothing that needs to be dry cleaned, and no whining when I have a headache.

Sorry but the unions are not exempt from the recession and they must be willing to make some consessions.
