Power Pass in New Orleans

Has anyone used them while on vacation? We are going to New Orleans for a three night getaway with our 13 yr old and I was wondering if it is worth the money. We have never been and want to make the most out of our time ther. Any suggestions on what to do while there is welcome.

  • Being a New Orleans native, I am able to answer the question about "What to do...". Unfortunately I have no idea what a power pass is though.

When visiting New Orleans, take a trip down town! Visit some shops and do a little "Southern Shoppin' ".
Cafe Du Mond is a MUST!! ...a little messy, don't wear black when you go!
Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World is something you will never experience anywhere else. It's a magical experience.
Take a ride on the Ferry to the Westbank. You get a GREAT view of the city from the river!!
Get some tickets to the Aquarium of the Americas and the Zoo! (Wear shorts, it's super hot down here!!)
Be sure to see the D-Day Museum!

Sure hope you enjoy your vacation!! Have tons of fun!!

...and take a walk down the river walk!! :)

  • Not sure what the power pass is but New Orleans is a fun place. We enjoy the Audubon Zoo and a must is a ride on the Steamboat. You can choose a dinner cruise that is great. We have taken cooking classes and Gumbo Shop in the French Quarter is so good.
Have fun! People are very friendly.
