What do it mean to "bump" an answer ?

  • When a question is bumped it can be because it may be a good question and better answers may be needed. Bumping a question is supposed to keep it towards the top of the section so that everyone can see it and so it doesn't get shuffled back as new questions come in. Bumping can also give the poster one credit and credits to the original poster. Hope that helps. Have a great night.
