Did you nurse past the age of 5?

I saw a girl nursing what looked like a 5 year old, did you do that? Why or why not?

  • How the heck do you send a 5 yr old off to school if they are still nursing?

  • I just watched grown ups and there was a 4 year old on there that was but I've never known anyone to nurse past 1 and a half unless they lived somewhere other than the US.

  • Ewww. No I wouldn't do that but then I wouldn't nurse a LO after about 14 months or so.

  • No I only nursed for like 2 weeks and I wish it had been longer. But not that long.

  • I'm term with my second, and I weaned my daughter about a month ago. She's 2. So I didn't personally nurse that long, but I don't see anything wrong with it. You send a nursing 5 year old to school just like any other kid. It's not their sole source of nutrients lol.

I'm hoping to make it to three years with this baby due any day now :)
