At 10mths old my daughter has started a head tic. She does it several times in hour and I was wondering if i should be worried?

She drops her chin towards her shoulders, turns her head and neck down towards her shoulders with a up and down motion. We thought it was more like a "cold chill" but now it is continueing throught out the day. She does this up and down motion at least 3 times everytime.

  • It definitely sounds like she should be looked at. It could be a very mild case of Terrets(can't spell!) A friend of mine has a son with the same issue and that is what he was diagnosed with. He's fine though! Don't worry. Just make an appoinment! Good Luck!

  • I would discuss with my ped and see if they recommend a neurologist.

  • That could be a seizure too. Get that child to a doctor.
