why do babies like to hit thier heads?

my baby barely started crawling so he just goes up to walls and bangs his head on purpose..

  • Babies' heads are proportionally heavier than adults so it's hard to carry it around without tipping over.

  • my daughter used to do it when she got mad. she would bang her head on stuff or hit herself in the head.

  • They DO? My kids never banged their heads on the wall on purpose. They really didn't get that mad...they were prettycheerful un;less they were sick and then they were really sad and whiny. LOL. But....I would worry about babies banging their heads on pujrpose. Check with the Pediatrician.
