  • WEll than all you can do is make sure that you are qualified (if posible, above and beyond what is required for the job), and keep your virtual fingers crossed. LOL! Good luck!

  • Go to your local military base/post and apply their at the CPO office.

  • They like formal education, military veterans and hiring internally. If you can get into any position you can always try to work your way up. Also if you're in a position to take a little risk, try for a temporary or seasonal position. They usually try to find another job for you or get more funding for the one you have once your term is up.

  • Take the civil service exams, and make friends with existing government workers!! NEPOTISM runs rampant within government agencies/divisions!! It's more WHO you know or are related to, that WHAT you know!!
