  • It seems like an awful lot of expense for something that isn't an issue for most people.

  • NO, only if the father or mother want it. Why should it be maditory, some parents do not have issues with peternity.

  • I don't see why. It should be easily available to the parents if requested. But mandatory? Who would benefit from all that time and money spent?

Answer by jus1jess at 7:36 AM on Aug. 1, 2010

  • Sure, are you going to pay for them all? Paternity tests are not free people! In theory this works - "If you have nothing to hide what's the issue" but the issue is that I know who my kids father is, and so does he, why should we have to fork out all this money just to prove that?

  • I agree with "louise2".

  • NO! My hubby and I are ALWAYS together! It would be impossible to cheat, therefore a waste of tax money!

  • yeah, it wont really hurt anything. and there for everyone knows!!!!!

Answer by firstimemomm603 at 8:15 AM on Aug. 1, 2010

  • No. It just seems like a silly waste of money when most couples wouldn't even think about it since there is no cheating.
