How often do you wash your Car?

I heard you should wash it every week. I live out in the country with a lot of dirt it doesn't make sense to me to wash it weekly and it seems like every time I do it rains then it's muddy & I wasted my money. What do you do?

  • The gas station I frequent has a "speed wash" and they discount car washes if you fill up or take 10 cents off per gallon if you buy a certain car wash package. That said, I do the "express washes" for $4.00 when I fill up--which is about every 2-3 weeks, more frequently in the winter to remove the salt and road grime. And about every 3 months I spend a little more to get a better wash package.

  • About every 3 months if that. My husband never washes any of his vehicles.

  • I think the last time I gave it a good wash was after the last snow and that was to get all the salt off of it. I did vacuum it for the first time in over a year this weekend.
