My daughter wants me to take her tent camping. I need suggestions!!!

I haven't been camping since I was a little kid, so I'm not sure what to take. I know sleeping bags, air mattress, pillows, fan(it's hot here in SC), lantern or flashlight, food and drinks. Any other suggestions??? We will be staying at a state park with bathrooms nearby.

  • If there is a play area it is nice to have your own volley ball or soccer ball you can use those even if there is not an area for it. I would also suggest trying to get a group of friends together for it. Make a play date out of it. You can make friends with the parents of your kids friends and they can keep each other amused.
