Lady Gaga Rages Against Immigration Law During Show In Phoenix....

Would this bother you?

Pop superstar Lady Gaga slammed Arizona's controversial new immigration law and urged her fans to protest the measure at two points during her sold-out concert in Phoenix. She said the law, part of which went into effect on July 29, had created "a state of emergency" in Arizona.

If you are at a concert to hear musicians perform do you want to hear their political stances? Whether you agree or not. Or would you rather them just do what you are there paying to see?

  • i don't usually put much stock into what a celebrity/entertainer says politically..so yeah, i'd rather them just do what i paid them to do. entertain me..if i wanted to attend a tea party, or protest a law in arizona, i would. JMO

  • I think they need to sing during a concert and not try to use their fame and fortune to attempt to get their fans to agree with them.

  • No, I don't want to hear stars talking about politics. I don't care how famous they are, they can't change my mind or influence me.

  • I also wouldn't change my original view, even if I liked the star. Which I do not like lady gaga. Though I do agree./

  • This is one reason I don't go to concerts/buy cd's or go to movies/buy dvd's. Entertainment and political opinion don't belong together. Personally, if I am wanting to be "entertained" it is probably because I am needing a break from things like politics.
