  • being emotionally upset will not cause a miscarriage. Cramping is normal during pregnancy, and can be elevated if you are dehydrated. Try drinking some water and resting for a while

  • Cramping is normal during pregnancy. It's the ligaments and uterine muscles expanding to prepare for a growing baby. However, if they become more regular and increase in intensity and/or you start having some red spotting with cramping, call your doctor. Stress can definately affect the health of you and your baby but one bad day will probably just make you tired, not threaten a miscarriage. Rest up and watch for other symptoms. Call your doctor if you have any concerns.
