teething and lethargy

can a baby be lethargic while teething? where he doesn't want to be standing or walking around, and sleeps almost all day long?

  • Children for a very long time. dd came over and pressed a bunch of keys on the keyboard, thats why Im leving 2 comments,lol
    Side effects of teething that I've experienced with the kids are
    slight fevers
    lots and lots of drewling
    chewing on hands,fingers,toes,toys..anything really
    occassional diarhea
    not being able to sleep from the pain, lots of screaming and crying

  • I've never heard of or experienced a child being lethargic due to teething. Dose he have any other symptoms? If he's acting this way you might want to take him to his pedi or call just to be sure you don't have to take him in.
