Do you match your shoe color to your shirt?

LOL I noticed a lot of my coworkers do this. I'll usually wear my black flats with any shirt lol, but if I do wear like a pink or purple shirt then I have some tan flats that I'll wear with that.

  • Most of the time, but only because my shirt and shoes are always black... Not because it's done on purpose...

  • Depends on what im wearing, If its to go out, i useually wear a black dress or outfit, with that you need a pop of color so i usually weat my red pumps or my red flats, With work clothes its usually black flats or brown! But if i wanna have fun and play it up ill have my shoes match my shirt!

  • Your shoes should always match an undertone of your garment. For example if you are wearing tan or light brown, you can wear a pastel pink as the color is in the same family! Whatever you do - navy and black DO NOT MIX! also, your shoes can simply match your belt too. When your shoes match your shirt it looks - ODD, picture white shirt black pants and white shoe!! NO!! picture black shirt black pants red belt and red shoes OOOOO now that is nice. I had a great complement once when i wore these pink metallic flats with a blue pastel shirt and pastel pearls, black jeans and a pink metallic belt wooohoo! I felt gorgeous!

  • Normally no. My shoes tend to be a pop of color or print.

  • No.. matchy-matchy doesn't work. Shoes should "go" with the outfit but matching color to color exclusively doesn't = a good outfit.
