My SO just brought home some "Yobaby Yogurt" ?? (she also has thrush, is dairy ok?)

He spent too much on this yogurt, LOL. Anyways, I have a 9 month old, does your baby like this? Does anyone know if it would be bad for a baby with thrush? Or good?

  • I love Yo Baby, it's the only kind of yogurt I've ever fed my 2.5 yo. I believe that yogurt is good for thrush, or at the very least can't hurt anything.

  • I would start out with just a little to make sure she doesn't have a milk allergy if this is the first time giving her dairy. As long as she's good, then you are fine. Yogurt is good for the thrush. Yobaby is about the only brand I'll give my daughter.

  • The yo baby has sugar added. I make my own by getting plain whole milk yogurt (much cheaper in the big tub) and mixing in unsweetened pureed fruit (like applesauce, mashed banana or baby jar fruit). Mix together about a tablespoon of each. It is yummy, no sugar added and WAY cheaper!

  • PLAIN if you have thrush. Yeast (thrush) feeds off sugar (even fruit sugars), and yobaby has lots.

  • Yogurt does nothing for thrush. There is not enough probiotics in it.
Do (if you're breastfeeding) you have thrush as well?
