  • 5 dollars and hour per kid

  • Details?
Because for me it depends on how long, how often, how many children, how old the children are, who's house is it at and who is supplying the food.

  • Depends, is this a teenager down the road, or an adult? For a quick couple of hours during the day, or out late at night? How old are your kids and how many?

  • I pay occasional babysitters $10 per hour to watch two children.

  • that's a huge range but some people offer care for a flat $40 per day, or something around that price.

  • It depends on your area too. You can go to and see what people are charging in your area. Search by zipcode

  • That's not a babysitter, that's more like a nanny kind of thing....

  • is people who do sitting, senior care, housekeeping, pet care, etc. Plus people looking for those services. It can be for a day, a week, or can be for a long term commitment. Each person lists what days they are available and what they charge per hour. I have gotten jobs there. A couple were for one day each and a couple have been for 3 days/week.
