  • We are and it is going really slow. It does make me feel so good when I get something paid off.

  • Of course!!!! I'm a proud Ramsey-bot! LOL By following the DR plan, we've managed to pay off over $17K in debt and build savings, all while living on a below-poverty-level income!

  • I JUST started. I am reading the books and trying to stash that $1,000. We dont have a lot of debt (no cc thank God!) but medical and school and I would LOOOOVE to have that gone and start working on my house!!

  • Oh yes!!! We paid off over $30k in debt and now have an emergency fund of 6 months of expenses set up. We are currently working on paying off our home, should have that done in 3-4 years. Dave Ramsey has saved our family's future! =P

  • I didn't follow that by his book, but I did go through Consumer Credit Counseling years ago. I am assuming they used the same procedures. It was slow going, but we did it. It took about three years total. It was a very beneficial plan for us and for many in our area. I think they changed their name though, so I have no idea what it is now.
