  • I have had no luck with "diets"
what works is a life style change. Start eating healthy and KEEP eating healthy.
diets don't work since they aren't meant for long term, you'll just gain all the weight back

  • I started following Tosca Rena's Eat Clean Diet, which I wouldn't really call a diet, but as DarkFaery131 said a life style change. I feel so much better, and have lost 30 pounds.

  • I have found that diets don't work because most people can't stay on them forever and as soon as you go back to eating your former way, you end up gaining most or even more weight back. Healthy eating and allowing treats now and then with regular exercise is what has worked for me.

  • Sre Slim and TLC diet.
They are really strict but if you stick to them the weight just falls off and stays off!

  • Herbalife! It like a counting calorie type of diet that makes it easier to get more nutritious calories. However, it is a lifestyle change. I lost 61 pounds in 6 months and stopped for about 3 months, only gained 3 pounds. Now I am going back on it for the last 20 pounds to lose.

  • Diets and diet aids (if they even work) are temporary fixes; some are actually dangerous. Unless you learn how to eat healthy for life, you will not be able to maintain a healthy weight and will stay on the gain/lose roller coaster - frustrating for you and hard on your body. Drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water every day. Eat 6-7 servings of whole grains (brown rice, whole grain bread, etc.) every day. Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, in at least 3 different colors. Eat at least 2 servings of legumes every day. You will lose weight. You will have more energy. You will maintain a healthy weight. You will get sick less often. You will be setting a wonderful example for your children. You can get free meal plans and recipes from Dr. McDougall, or find his books at your local library:
Eat an apple or a big pile of vegetables before meals

  • I cut out refined sugar, white rice, enriched floured products, pasta, etc. I switched to organic. Eat 3 big or 5 small meals a day. I basically eat normally. Have learned to cook some incredible meals and the slow cooker is my friend. 20 pounds came off quick. Added 90min workouts 3-5 days/week. Amazing. Not too mention I feel great. If I have challenging days (eating out etc. ) I just add an extra workout day. Good luck.
