  • Tap out as many as you can in a place where the birds can get to them and eat them, then hose it out and use either some bleach or a household cleaner and swish it around. I like to share the free meal with the birds, they love it!

  • I would do a mixture of bleach and water. That seems to work pretty well.

  • As previous poster suggested, dump out what you can the birds will take care of them if they are still alive when you dump them. Our dumpster has drain holes drilled in the bottom so we just use the sprayer attachement on the hose to clean it out. If it's smelling use some bleach or vingear in a squirt bottle to clean it.
