If you smoke weed while you're breast feeding, does it get into your milk or will your body filter it out? No, I've never done this! I was talking with some people & they brought it up & we had a little bit of a disagreement about it. Any insight is appreciated. Thank you!!Answer Question

Anything you ingest - eat, drink or smoke - goes into your breast milk.

It is especially bad. You can take almost all meds and some recreational drugs while breastfeeding. What's bad about weed is that it is stored in the fat in your body and your baby keeps getting the drug for days or weeks. It's better to drink, alcohlol leaves your system quickly. When you drink there is not need to "pump and dump" since it's not stored.
