  • not anymore- but my DS was nursing at least 5-6x a day at that point- it's where the bulk of his fluid intake came from.

  • My kids are both past that age, but I always nursed on demand... When they wanted it, I nursed. Some days it was more than others.

  • My son is 12 months and still nursing. I usually nurse him like 3 times during the day on week days since I work ft. He also nurses through the night. On weekends it's as much or as little as he wants. I nursed my older son until he was 14 months and self weaned. The WHO recommends nursing for 2 years or more. Congrats on making it so long!

  • My daughter turned two in June and we are still nursing. Some days we're down to twice.. When she wakes and when she sleeps at night. Other days (like today... nursing right now...) it's more frequent. But we always nurse on demand.

  • My third child was still nursing every hour or two at 12 months. My current baby turned a year old today (yea!) and nurses about 4-5 times plus a few times at night. :)
