How do you make smell-good candles at home?

What kind of materials do I need?
Where do I get them from?
What scents can you make?
How long do they burn for?

  • The quality of the scent is really based on the quality and dilution of the fragrance additives. If you use fragrance oil you will not get the same result as Essential Oil. Soy based candles burn cleaner and longer than certain other types of waxes. While you can get candle supplies at places like Michaels and JoAnn's, you are better off getting your supplies from a candle supplier. Google it and you will be amazed at the quantity and quality of info and instructions out there! Good Luck and Enjoy!
