Do you have a friend that basically sucks you dry?

As in they take all of your positive energy and happiness and anything positive that you can give them and send you into a bad mood just being around you?

  • Yes, and they are no longer my friends. I don't like being around negative people.

  • Yes, I had a friend that would always be there but she frustrated me to no end. She would always want to contradict me and argue with me like stupid stuff like the color of the sky. The kicker is she was very dingy and was wrong about almost everything.

  • Have you ever pointed this out to them? Maybe a wake up call is in order. If they see you are willing to lose the friendship because of it, it might help them. You have to be willing to lose it though...not just call the bluff and then put up with the same crap. I think real friends can be point blank honest with you.
